Cyril Lixenberg (1932-2015)
Composition in Red, Orange and Dark Blue
1973 | enamel on metal | 100 × 100 cm
Cyril Lixenberg aimed to keep everything to a minimum in his paintings and sculptures. He wanted them to be articulate.
This section forms the right-hand side of a three-piece set in enamelled metal. By using contrasting shapes and colours, Lixenberg created a visually expressive language within his geometric constraints.
