In this work, Lidija Delic plays with time, which seems to move forward and stand still simultaneously.
Like a flip book, these drawings on marble show a woman in a bikini walking farther and farther into the sea. Although time has been frozen in each picture, it seems to pass as the figure moves forward from plate to plate. The pattern of the marble adds texture to the sea, making it seem to stretch on forever.
