The view up a driveway in this painting by Han Jansen technically has all the elements of perspective, but it still looks very flat.
Jansen achieves this effect in part by his use of colour. Instead of blending into each other, the separate colours are accentuated with outlines. In his later work, Jansen adds florescent colours to make these dividing lines stand out even more.
