Classical Greek and Roman sculpture is known for representing the perfect body. Don Brown, on the other hand, pursues a different ideal: the perfect sculpture.

Brown’s human sculptures are of his own wife, Yoko. Brown’s scientific knowledge of Yoko’s skeletal structure allowed him to reduce her body to exactly half scale in his work. Whether presented clothed, nude or with a cloth draped over her, Yoko the sculpture is always a perfect copy of Yoko herself.
