Kevin Osepa (1994, Curaçao) – Public Prize Winner

Kevin Osepa was born and raised in Curaçao. His work revolves around both his own identity and, in a broader sense, that of Afro-Caribbean youth in a postcolonial world. The images he creates and the stories he tells are strongly influenced by his youth. Although his themes are autobiographical, his work can also pass for quasi-anthropological.
