Natascha Libbert

Natascha Libbert (1973) lives and works in Amsterdam. Libbert aims her camera at people, landscapes and objects. She shows the skin and the outside of things with amazing precision: you can almost feel them. Libbert uses natural light and photographs situations that catch her eye. Without any form of image manipulation, the scenes and objects appear as if in a film still – sometimes documentary, sometimes surreal.
