Ola Lanko is a visual artist. She studied at the Royal Academy for Visual Arts in The Hague and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. In her work, she explores the limits and possibilities of the medium of photography in a scientific, artistic and refreshing way. She exposes the change in perception when an object is photographed and involves the viewer. She explores the idea of ​​visual literacy, our perception and interpretation of images. Through her projects, she stimulates a critical look at the visual culture that plays an increasingly important role in our society.
