2020 | charcoal, acrylic, pastel on coloured paper | 170 × 150 cm

This mishmash of arms and legs – and a face, if you can find it – all ties in with Susanna Inglada’s interest in Spanish and Catalan history.

Inglada says she’s intrigued by violence and power. The people in this scene have been fragmented and reduced to sometimes sketch-like illustrations, opening doors to new interpretation.
