B.D. Graft started creating art as a way to express his emotions and personal experiences. His work is playful and accessible, meant to inspire others, not to impress.
His art pieces often depict bees, flowers, flower pots, fruit bowls and still lifes, with lots of use of yellow and blue. Bees symbolize fertility and productivity, which hold special meaning to his work. He also creates a lot of interiors. For these, he experimented during the lockdowns. Graft plays with shapes and the relationships they enter into in his work.
