Berlin artist Alicja Kwade loves to challenge how we see things, and she’s no stranger to a little optical illusion.
Kwade’s Little Be-Hide plays on ‘being’ and ‘hiding’. The reflection of each boulder in the two-sided mirror between them doubles as a real reflection and as an illusionary image of the boulder concealed on the other side.
