Like any proper guard, Beverly Pepper’s Moving Sentinel stands and keeps watch. It constantly absorbs the space.
What we first think of as a teetering block tower actually resembles a human body. We can make out the shape of a backbone and see the blue glow of its enamelled interior through the gaps. The sculpture is often set up at the door to a boardroom.
