With her slinky green dress and bob haircut, Maks’ young wife, Cécile, is the very picture of the Roaring Twenties. She looks ready to explore Amsterdam’s night life, where husband and wife spent their entire married life. Since the beginning of the 21st century, there’s been a resurgence of interest in Maks’ work.
