In his Red-White-Yellow-Blue series, Jef Diederen uses a frame-within-a-frame technique to draw us into his world.
Although presented without any recognisable use of perspective, each painting in this series creates its own sense of depth and space. The images in the centre are mainly Diederen’s impressions of landscapes.
