Unspoilt nature and technological progress can both be beautiful. In this work, Miren Pastor places them side by side.

This work uses the metaphor of an X-ray to show how things were before and after a river had its flow regulated by a dam. We see nature tamed by humans to obtain ‘free energy’ – and as a destructive force that still reveals itself in the form of uncontrollable flooding.
