Part science, part still life, the Disassembly series recalls humankind’s strange fascination with manipulating nature.
However, the plant in this photograph is not meant as a scientific illustration. Nor is it to be admired for its beauty. It has been ‘disassembled’, only to be reassembled to almost natural perfection using thread, wire, pins, adhesive tape and glue.
