Andreas Gefeller is interested in how we perceive the world around us when what we see is constantly portrayed in a different light.

Photographed during the night, this dense birch forest has been so overexposed by the camera that many of its original details have disappeared. Strange shapes seem to emerge from the spaces in between to take their place.
