Dan Graham (1942)
Two Two-Way Mirror Half Circles
2000 | Verre, aluminium | 6 x 7 m on the floor
Dan Graham's work is about space and time, the relationship between private and public space, and everything that influences the viewer's perception and place in art and society.
On the border between architecture and sculpture, his metal and glass pavilion is reminiscent of a shop window, both transparent and reflective. The viewer is in a position of voyeur-vu in the heart of a real and illusionary space. “The idea is to feel both outside and inside and thus be integrated into the space without knowing it,” explains the artist.
